I had been hesitant to show her since there is so much to comprehend before it is even borderline appropriate to teach something so abstract. But today was the day! I wanted to weep, but figured I would keep it together for this lady's sake (I can just hear it now..."Are you kidding, Miss Rachel? You crying during math? Seriously?") Last year we were learning how to count in English and add one-digit numbers. And today we were multiplying multi-digit factors. God is undeniably faithful!
