| Christmas Read-In 2011 So cozy! |
We are two weeks into 2012, and things are back up and running at our little school. Christmas certainly flew by, and we are excited for what this new year will bring. Just to keep you up to date on the happenings at Little Way, here are some cutesie pictures from our Christmas "Read-In". We wore our coziest pajamas, brought our pillows and blankets, and had a glorious reading and celebrating day. The day included cocoa sipping, Christmas card writing, ornament making, Advent word alphabetizing, Christmas read-alouds galore, tree decorating, dramatizations of Jesus' infancy narratives, and even a little Charlie Brown action to finish off our day. It was adorable.

I would love to be able to report that "not being such a sad excuse of a blogger" is at the top of my resolutions for this year. It's not. Bummer. But I am going to be trying harder to fill you in on the little day-to-day happenings. I mean, the big stuff is fun...but the greatest joys in our little school come from the ups and downs of everyday learning, growing, changing, struggling, triumphing. So my posts might not be fancy. I certainly won't always have my act together enough to take, upload, and post photos of such moments. But let the trying begin. Hope your 2012 is off to a remarkable start just as ours is!
