Spring at our little school has been glorious and we have loved saying farewell to the grays and browns of winter. Our classroom door is almost perpetually open. We even got a brand-spankin'-new screen door that let's the fresh air in but keeps the bugs out (except for the extra sneaky ones).
In other exciting news, we had another playset donated to the school. We now have 17 students...so we have been in need of new playing space (Our class only has five kiddos still...but we have hopes to grow next year!) It was brought over to our school during our reading time--which provided an excellent distraction. The BIG set was driven over, carried high up in the air on a Bobcat, which encouraged this quote from one of my buddies, "Oh yeah baby. Drop it like it's hot." I wasn't up for a conversation about hip-hop lyrics with a seven-year-old, so we left the conversation at that and "OOh"ed and "Ahh"ed over the new addition to our playground.
