And the school year begins. Woo!

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at Little Way. It is great to have you back! We are three weeks in and it has been one heck of an adventure already. There are six of us (yes...SIX!) in our sweet classroom this year, and we are ironing out our routines, and learning how to learn together. This is an art all in itelf! Just to give you the full run-down, this year we have two remarkable 2nd graders, one spectacular third grader, one magnificent 5th grader, and one wonderful 14-year-old. We are quite the bunch! You'll be hearing a whole lot more about them as the year goes on. Here we are. We're stinkin' cute.

There are certainly already many stories to tell; many joys to share; many successes in which to rejoice; and many bumps from which to learn. I have, perhaps learned the most thus far. From practicing letter sounds with an English-learning teenager, to figuring out how to teach math at five different levels--it has been an adventure. So.
