I must have been looking a bit weary by the end of the day today--the kiddos could tell that I was feeling tired after a long week. Sweet Luke has gotten into the habit of giving me a little shoulder rub while I read Narnia at the end of every day. It is precious. Today my daily shoulder rub was followed by a conversation that allowed Luke to voice some of his concerns for my well-being.
Luke: You know Miss Rachel, you really could use a nice back rub at the end of a long day.
Me: Well that sure is sweet of you Luke.
Madison: Yeah right. You could use a whole lot more than a back rub.
Luke: I know. Like a husband.
I am glad to know someone is looking out for my future :)
