What a joy to celebrate the marvelous moms of Little Way! We worked hard all morning last Wednesday, with the kiddos in the Montessori classroom, to prepare a beautiful tea to say "Thank you!" to some incredible women. And yes...Mads made tiny heart brownies in our little toaster over. You ever see anything so cute? We have been enormously grateful for them this year, and they have brought immense joy to our classroom. Thank you Michelle and Melissa!
Oh--and here is the poem that Mads, Noah and I wrote to invite them to come celebrate with us. My students are brilliant :)
A mother's love--a precious treasure.
To serve you'd be our greatest pleasure.
Please join us on the fourth of May.
Our praise for you must not delay.
At half past eleven please come for tea.
We'll celebrate you joyfully.
With little hands that will prepare
A lunch to thank you for your care.
